Well that makes things sound a little more feasible.

Hi all,

A couple of days ago, I posted a new topic on the IPMC blog, about the Make and Take Table.

Also on the blog you can see some of the pictures from other events, and from the 2008 edition(if you missed it)

Visit International Paper Model Convention

Check it out.

Hello friends.

As I was reviewing an old Fine Scale Modeler (from October 1999), I came across this announcement. I was indeed amazed.

I tried to call, but that phone number is not active anymore, nor is the web page they mention.

Anyone knows something about this?

Hi Rick,

indeed I'm surprised to hear this! I met Myles personally 1998 in Dayton
and was very impressed by his engagement for the cardmodeling hobby.

BTW: Are there any confirmed dates for a 2009 convention?

best regards

Oh Hurray! And in the same splendid (and not too expensive) hotel as last year? I'll start looking into Airtran flights from Atlanta. This time I am not going to be able to bring up any built tatebanko - but Pete Heesch might still have the big samurai diorama that he bought last year at the auction. I have been specializing in small things lately, hoping to be able to transmport more of them in my patented Suitcase-full-of-styrofoam-peanuts method. Thanks Rick.

Which Hampton Inn is it, and is there a code or anything similar for reservations?
