Model show

The farnborough wll be holding their show on Saturday 21 September. ( address below) Because we had so many models last year, they have given us more space - so there's no excuse for you not to bring a few models along - especially if you don't live too far from Camberly. Tim Crowe and Roger Pattenden will be there (I hope). I'll have a few models so come along and see how much my models are flattered by my camera ;-) We look forward to meeting a few more members of paper Modelers.Cheers Mike Kings International College Watchetts DriveCamberleySurreyGU15 2PQ

Dave,

We can certainly sponsor a table for you - the air fair is a different matter;-)

Unlike the American show, exhibitors don't have to pay for their tables, although vendors do. The club charge a small entrance fee for visitors - generally the profit goes to a local charity.

Report from the show:

Just two of us turned up to display our models. Not used to having this much room. Gave us plenty of room to spread out.

All of Mike's builds are from this year.

A close up - all the statues are separate items

More later

The show was quite busy, and we had a good level of interest

This is model is of a Silesian farm, complete with figures. But there seems to be an interloper - who could it be?

More shortly

Tim

Took a few photos of plastic models:

There was a lot of armour and aeroplanes, but only a few things stood out
