Attention Southern California modelers IPMS-OC OrangeCon is open to Paper Modelers

Attention Southern California modelers.

IPMS-OC will be having our annual OrangeCon on the 5th of October at Cal State Fullerton. We have a separate category for paper models and you can sneak a paper model into the plastics categories. They won't let me do that anymore I can only assume that they can't stand the competition (tongue in cheek).

We would really like to see your models be they plastic or paper. The show is large with lots of venders both manufactures and sellers of models. There are 6 members who build paper models but at this time it appears that only 2 or 3 will be showing models. We need your models so that we can represent our hobby. This is your opportunity to meet other paper modelers enter in our contest and show your models and with skill and luck take home an award.

The quality of the models in the show is some of the best you will see. Several of our members will be showing models that took top awards at the National IPMS held in Colorado.
