Jan 2014 Wellton AZ Tractor Show
Another one finished. The 1st show of the year down in the Yuma area. Get a bunch of stuff from the snowbirds that you don't see later in the year as they head back north.
Need some id help on the first two. A couple of big military vehicles being transported on I-8. Nearly always see some mil-vehicles being shuttled around in this area. Next up a 56 Mercury. Then a couple of Sears Economy tractors a 1939 and a 38. Odd find at the swap meet a Lycoming 9 cyl radial. Don't know if it had been mounted on a swamp buggy or was used to blow air in orchards. Next row: This was labeled as a 1926 Ford Model T 1 ton which means it is a Model TT and the hood sides are 1923-25 style. Another odd one - a Crosley Icy Ball Refrigerator. 1916 Happy Farmer made by the La Crosse Tractor Company. A bit rough looking IH pickup on the outside from late 40's-early 50's but it definitely had some serious drive train additions underneath. Then a 1926 Fordson Model F with a Trackson conversion. As always enjoy!! 2014-01-18 Wellton 36th Tractor Rodeo & 5th Southwest Forgotten Iron - whulsey |

Some nice looking vehicles again.
That first military vehicle reminds me of one of those EOD vechicles. Project Manager Mine Resistant Ambush Protected Vehicles That second military vehicle looks like a USMC amphibious assault vechicle of some sort. USMC Amphibious Assault Vehicle

The MRAP looks like the RG-31,
the second is correctly ID-ed as the AAV-7 the current US Marine Corps Amphibious capability

The MRAP looks too big to be a RG-31. Its a 6x6 and big, all the RG-31s I've referenced are 4x4s and don't look much bigger then a 1T pickup. But did note in blowing up the image that it is Marine marking on it.
