Orphan Car Show 2013-10-20

Got another show done. Have to say the definition of orphan car is expanding especially with corporate brands being dropped. Here's a few samples: Hudson 1909 roadster; 1952 Kaiser Manhattan, close to what mine was like except it was solid Blue Satin Metallic the roof color on this one and needed a lot of body work and chrome; Austin 1953 Somerset; Edsel 1960 convert, 1 of 76 according to plate, I knew a guy in Cal that probably build more then Ford did until he was invited to a few years vacation by the state; Willys 1952 M38A1. 2013-10-20 Orphan Car Show Phoenix - whulsey

Enjoy!

Nice images. I once owned a 1948 Austin Devon that had a similar profile to the Somerset in photo 3. A very rare car in the States. Here I am over 40 years later, still wishing I had held on to it. Thanks for sharing these great pictures.

Thanks for the comments. The Austin is cool. I build the old Revell Austin drag car many years ago and just at random did a very similar paint color and breakup on it so it was really a flashback to see this one.

You need to start letting me know when these cool old car shows are. I wanna go to a few.

Also, I see that Obsolete Water Pump Repair truck everywhere.
