Actually, the medals are not from this show. I placed it there from another contest for folks to see.

This was only a show and there was no competition.

Yes, it is an Me P.1101. I built it a couple of years ago with an exposed engine I made from wood material. I did have a building report on it as well as most of the planes you see here.

Cool Great show

Today was the second day and it ended in a great way. Many interesting folks came and talked in depth. Young kits with their parents as well as old WW2 vets talked about their time.

No model was damaged.

My models are now in boxes till next time.

This is my second post. I just wanted to say that I had the pleasure of meeting Issac at the "Mini Model Engineering Show" at EnterTrainment Junction ("ET") yesterday, and thus am one of the few contributing to this thread that actually saw Issac's display. I suppose then it is my duty to embarrass him and tell you how well his display impressed the visitors, so here goes...

I'm a member of the local garden railway club, and a few of our members had a steam train display in the show as well. As I completed my discussion with my friend, he told me that I just had to see the model aircraft on display, and that they were made of PAPER! He didn't mention any of the other displays, and I mean there were some doozies there, including 1/16th scale (BIG) hand-built operational steam trains, many unique operating mechanical devices, replicas of armored vehicles, and on and on.

Of course, my friend was right. Issac's models are amazing, and he and his wife were gracious enough to spend quite a bit of time with me to be sure I was having a great time. I took only 2 pictures at the show: one of the news article that Issac brought to the show and one of the Phantom II.

Had a nice time at the show this past weekend. There were three of us paper modelers. Jim , Paul and myself.

Saturday was a good turnout with many interested visitor. Sunday was slower. Anyhow folks were fascinated by the paper models and we had lots of questions. Hopefully they will also visit our Dayton paper expo May 25th.
