Cool Its on

Here is a blog on their web site:

Does this look like a paper airplane?

Model show-Entertrainment jucntion-entertrainment-blog.jpg

These will all be on display at the 6th Annual Model Engineering Show hosted by EnterTRAINment Junction the weekend of March 7th 10 to 6 and 8th noon to 5. There will also be several model boats - some of them actually steam powered, and radio controlled. "

And me getting ready for the show tomorrow:

WORD OF WARNING

please keep a sharp eye out on the ones close to the edge and plenty of do not touch labels every couple of feet. i had that issue with children and adults alike who wanted to grab up the kits either to play with or in the case of the adults not believing they are paper.

What a terrific display, Isaac!

I can remember watching you build many of those models in your many build threads.

Best wishes for the event and hello to Cindy.

Its why its always a good idea to have your building supplies with you to do repairs in house. if you get a chance to put up some warning labels do so. even if its just pieces of paper with red marker taped to the tabel its better than nothing.

Don thanks.

Cindy was with me and worked the table and answered many questions. We both had a fantastic time.

I'll let her know you said hello.

The show was great. Pics next

Amazingly no one handled any of the models. Even those that did not believe it was paper.

The secret was that I had a show and tell and touch model for them to actually handle and fit the wings together as well as some partial assemblies they could touch. I had kids and adults handle that model as long as they wanted to.

I also let them touch the printed pages of some kits and gave away some of my left overs from early days of modeling.
