Congrats! Did you get a picture of the first place entry? I would love to see what they
did with the B-25 and Empire State Building.

Some how I didn't get a good picture Ray. I tried a couple of times, but there were always people right in front of it when I was able to escape the table. I had one blurry one, but you couldn't see any details. The funky hangar lighting and the lighting from the model messed with my camera.I'll keep checking the club page for photos of the show.

I was able to track down a good picture of the Empire State Building at the time of the B-25 crash. Thankfully, some of the club members took really nice pictures.
If you look closely at the fireball, you can see a tiny little B-25 Mitchell hanging precariously out of the building. |

It has the tail markings of the actual plane that smashed into it, but other than that the plan is simple. The neat thing was that the fireball actually lights up, using the switch on the right corner to turn on/off.

A couple other members came through with some close ups. The B-25 does have some details painted on it, and the molding of the flames is pretty well done.
