San Antonio Air Show

Well... not San Antonio per se, but in Schertz City's Randolph Air Force base.

... ok, practically is San Antonio.

ANYWAY! It is this upcoming Saturday October 30th, and Sunday November 1st.

After the not-so-fun sequester, the government gave green light to resume air shows in San Antonio.
Last time was in 2011 (I was just moved to the Alamo City), and now, we have it back.

Thunderbirds are the cherry of the pie this year.

The local IPMS club will have a booth with models for Take-And-Make, and information about modeling.
I will take a couple of paper models as well.

If you attend, please stop by the Alamo Squadron Modeling Club booth and say "I'm a paper modeler!".
You will be invited to the Model Fiesta on February as we will have a Paper Model category.

I'll be there Sunday. I've been waiting for this since 2011....pissed me off when they canceled the local air shows back then.

"Cost savings" - when we are airdropping supplies to wannabe terrorists and giving money away to other countries. Yeah, makes sense to me.

Nope, staying home (except for work - plenty of flying as it is - 6 hours yesterday, 4 today, probably 9 tomorrow) with a new baby... Currently up in the Dallas area.
