Yep, thanks for the photo ID's Isaac. It's always nice to meet people and learn their names, if not in reality, then virtually.

You guys can start an official modeling club now! And who knows?
Maybe tomorrow you will be hosting a paper modeling event!

PS - YOAV... you have a fantastic aquarium there! Can you share a pic of it, please?

Shalom!

Neat Yoav! Scalara is a freshwater fish? I understand they are kind of hard to breed.

hey Elliot

yes indeed, scalar is a freshwater fish and they are not hard to breed.

if you want to breed them, you have to get a group of little scalars, let's say about 10-15.....in a size of 4-5 cm.
they grow together and when they get bigger, some of them become couples.

they choose their own mate, you can't do this for them and because of that you have to grow a group of them.

also, if you want to increase the success rate of breeding you have to plant big vegetation with big and wide leaves, or to put in your aqurium a high vessel with a shape of cone.....and they are breeding and laying their eggs on them.

good luck in case you want to breed scalars.

Hi Isaac

I think you are going on a very significant journey Israel trip.

Meeting with YOAV and modelers also looks very happy.

I wish everyone a pleasant modeling.

Nice to see the faces of some of the greatest paper model wizards coming together. That's indeed a very beautiful aquarium Yoav. I still regret the fact that all my fish died last summer, due to a breakdown of the pump causing lack of oxygen in the water during our holidays. The two majestic angel fish were great companions and always curious.

Been to Israel four times in the early nineties, to the ORL refineries in Ashdod and Haifa to assist in commissioning of one of the plants.

All the best to you and thanks for sharing the pictures,
Erik
