All,
Update: After considerable back-and forth with the conference hotel, I got verbal confirmation from them yesterday on 28-30 October 2016 as the dates for the 2016 International Paper Modelers Convention. This appears to be pretty solid, but I'm going to hold off sending out the general email announcement until we actually have the contract signed. If all goes well this should be Monday or Tuesday of next week, and I'll post another update here as soon as it's done. Once again, I apologize for the delay in getting this nailed down -- I know it's a problem for folks travelling here from a distance, especially by air. Best to all, Peter A. |

Well, the dates for IPMC 2016 are *finally* official: 28-30 October 2016. The venue will be the same as in previous years, the Holiday Inn and Suites in Sterling, Virginia. Mark the dates on your calendar, but please don't send in any registrations yet. We still need to work out the costs for this year, and we'll get the 2016 registration forms posted here as soon as possible.

You know how they say time flies when you're having fun. Well, the reverse applies if you're not having fun. In fact, some days I wonder if time has been reversed, cause the day just seems to get longer.

All,
The registration form and tentative schedule for the 2016 IPMC are posted in the Self Help section of the library, here: http://www.papermodelers.com/forum/v...ownloadid=2461 The setup is pretty much the same as in previous years, although we may have one or two little surprises in store (good ones, that is!) Also, see Don's 5 February post above for details of this year's awards. Peter A. |

Thanks, DaBeer! Apparently my cutting-and-pasting skills leave something to be desired.
The registrations are already starting to roll in. Look forward to seeing everyone in October. |
