WW2 museum in New Orleans
Had a great opportunity to be in New Orleans Louisiana June 6 ( D day invasion or Normandy for those that may know ).
My hotel was a block away. I spent most of the day at the museum including a behind the scenes restoration tour of a PT boat ( while boats are not my thing, it was nonetheless a great tour ). Planes, boats, vehicles, objects, weapons and dress up soldiers of US and Germans. Some pics here. Hope you will have a chance to be there one day Isaac

An excellent set of images, many of which will be useful for model building and all clearly show the aircraft, vehicles, and equipment.

wow, what a beauty set of airplanes!!
one of each, and all top of their class! re the sixth picture...photo of the C47 I get the trend of leaving the aircraft in original condition (dirty, unpainted, battle damaged, etc) but what is that in front of the pilot's window? is that what's left of a bird strike? lol
