How about an exhibit, call it whatever, of tribute to past designers, builders, and/or contributors to the paper model hobby. A list of names, perhaps a built model, or a kit, a photo, or maybe a written memory of a contact with the person. Nothing free (unless someone wanted to do that), displayers keep their stuff, but we all get a chance to remember and learn about that person. Jim

All,
It would be great to have some sort of memorial for Peter Z., and for Alan Rose as well. At a minimum, we could certainly have a special display table or two for them. I have a complete (unbuilt) set of Peter's airplane models, plus a built Spirit of St. Louis. I also have all of Alan's "on the move" models, and a couple of his buildings. Peter gave a great slide presentation when he was here in 2003. Unfortunately, I don't seem to have a copy, and I'm not even sure that it was a Power Point (it may have been actual slides!). What other ideas does everyone have? Peter A. |

I haven't seen the Zorn's MGs. Didn't even know existed. I know he owned a 1:1 which he loved.
A group build including Alan Rose too sounds nice! That's a good idea.

I don't believe they were
you could email Peter and order by mail the kits, I believe there were 3 or 4 kits he was producing at the time Here are the two shots of mine, of Peters Magnette, from 2003

During the 2003 IPMC, Peter Zorn(there were 3 guys named Peter at the same event) had hidden copies of the model he created as part of his Master's back in 1977 at the University of Miami (The U!)
It was a M-4 Sherman tank. these copies were hidden under some of the chairs in the dining hall, and during dinner, we were told to check under your seat for an original Peter Zorn model I think there for a half a dozen or so winners the following year, in 2004, two of them showed up as assembled models. https://goo.gl/photos/D4nxjLtNqiBA2wEG6 Rick
