Steve Irwin is registered in the Netherlands but makes berth in Williamstown, Melbourne. There's Sea Shepherd's Southern Ocean base.
Well, Clive, the 1/250 version of the Steve exists - and you can even do it either in black or in camo... There's the question of the whaler then. That would be an awesome diorama - definitely. But somehow I can't convince myself to spend valuable lifetime on designing a whaler... There's so many other things to design which I actually like @kiwi kev, if you have the chance to visit on the ship - take it. First time I've been on the Steve was in Sydney in 2012 - changed a lot.. Awesome experience. Cheers, Ben |

Ask for Niko when you're on board and say Hi to him from me . I think he has a built up model on board.

Well Ben, an Irwin/whaler diorama is now on my "to do" list, at about 567th place last count..
But as I placed an order for a couple of kits with you only last night it'll have to wait a few weeks. In the mean time I'll see what I can do about a chaser. Clive.

Ah, I know that list. I have one myself. Actually two. One for designing and one for building.
Thanks for the order! Will be on its way today. The chaser - well - I wouldn't rule it out completely. Actually somebody from Sea Shepherd Headquarter asked me if that wouldn't be a possibility for me to design one - simply to show the relations. Actually that was basically about the Nisshin Maru. Let me think about it... I'm quite sure though that I won't get plans directly from them... Bob Barker was a whaler to in her previous life... Cheers |

I just saw that heaps of people were checking out the Steve Irwin on our Australian shop. Great! I love that. But at the moment we only send to AUS and NZ from there.
The Steve is also available from our shop in Europe: http://www.kartonmodellbau.de/epages...roducts/103877 From there we send to everywhere |

Hi Benjamin,
Do you know if this will be available from the US? I can't bring myself to spend 100% of the model cost on shipping. Thanks. |

Hi Wyatt,
we're working on that! It may still take a little while though - maybe another 3-4 weeks. You might try getting it through amazon.co.uk - they might have better rates for shipping: https://www.amazon.co.uk/HMV-3877-Ca...n+sea+shepherd |
