I looked at that one but it is only 1/400 not 1/250 and it looks pretty coarse, might not scale up too well.

However, my diorama would only need the pointy end or the blunt end of a japanese chaser cos thats all that will be showing above water, so it may just do.

I wonder what whales sound like when they cheer?

When I went looking for a model chaser I was inundated with images if whales being murdered and I became very sad and extremely bitter.

I don't know if I can build that diorama now, my heart would not be in it.

Hi Ben, just got back from the being on board the ship,I saw Niko and said hello he very surprised that some one in Dunedin would be asking after him. He showed me the model they have on board,but it lost some parts when it fell off its perch in a storm in the southern ocean. So thanks Ben it was good to meet Niko and he was asking after you.
