Ok last few. But some of my fav photos from the day.

First off brietling team crossover, my camera has not got rapid shot's, so I was lucky to get this shot.

2nd shot, Tri star, I don't know why, but I like her.

Back to the lancaster, a few ground shot's on the way out.

And the spitfire on the ground.

So, a review of the day. Not as good as last year, and no where near as good as the 2001 show. In 2001 the US was there in style, B1 flying was amazing. Last year and this year no US flying at all. Last year had the mirage 2000 (it got star of the show), not this year.

The aircraft that did fly were great and put on a good show, but there were a lot of gaps, as though they were trying to spread out the show. When the vulcan was susposed to be flying, nothing filled the space, only hele' tours were flying.

The vulcan is airworthy, but the no flying cert was a silly mistake. I was talking with a retired Raf guy, who worked QRA on the vulcan, he turned up at the car park at 3pm to just watch the vulcan, has was fuming when we told him it wasn't flying.

Some of you may be asking what about the typhoon photos, well it was that hot, that the kids got sun stroke and we had to leave early. We did see it take off earlier in the day though. I didn't mind leaving early, I was a bit disapointed about the vulcan and I've seen the typhoona few times already.

I hope to get to a few more shows this year.

A vampire and the breitling team. They put on a great show, I'd say better than the red arrows.
That's very nearly BLASPHEMY, man!

Never been to the Duxford display,I hope to one day if things change here.I used to be just down the road from the West Malling Great Warbirds Display which meant even if I could not go I got to see most of the action also Rochester Airport use to have some pretty good shows for a small field. Both no longer display as they have both been built on,Rochester at least still operates, for now anyway.

Great pictures. We have not had an air show in a long time. I hope we have one soon so I can take my son to one.
