Thanks Hetzer for the links.

My interest is mainly aircraft, so that is what I mainly spent time looking at..I visited all the museum you provided the links. However it just snowed and everything was lightly covered. I'll post pics when I get home

Speaking of Hetzers, there is one at the Military museum , however it has its back end blown off. Did you see it? If not I'll post pics .

yup, seen it all. shame though because its not the hetzer captured by insurgents - unfortunately "chwat", as it was called, has been split to razors :(

Loved that place, was there quite often. every time with different purpose - once for the tracked thingies, other for the winged hussars, to see IL2 up close and to get some refs for future builds, and so on so on.... every time visiting I've made few hundred pics. just in case if I am not able to get back when having a build on the go. so my library of references is quite extensive.

what was worth seeing there though was "Kubus" the odd and one-off persons carrier made by Warsaw insurgents. there is a full scale replica at the Warsaw Uprising Museum too.

have you visited railway museum?

cheers

I have seen the Kubus, armor plated car.

Also I saw the stormovick , IL-2 , I have the GPM kit and am inspired to build it. Impressive plane.

Regarding the railway museum, I past by it this morning when I took the taxi to work at the Insytut lotnitcwa ( the aviation institute ). I will try to go there if I have time.
However
I'll be going to the Polish air force museum in Deblin this Thursday.

Lot of toys to see here.

There were at least 20 paper models on display hung up. I used my regular camera for those as I needed flash to iluminate them. Those pictures later.

Tomorrow, I'm going to the Polish Air Force museum in Deblin

Paper models at the Warsaw Uprising museum

There were many model planes hanging at the museum.

I enjoyed seeing those models on full display.

Nice to see paper models in museums.

I am doing my part of having temporary displays at the US Air Force Museum in Dayton. My next display is January 13th at noon......

Lim-6 "316"- I made a repaint of older Mig-17 to this Lim-6 years ago.I still have it,maybe I should build it finally. It looks pretty good with those rocket launchers.I did one from Maly when it came out, good kit but lots of mistakes in design (not to mention furniture grade card).

Good for you to go and see places.Have fun.
