Just wondering, would an 18th century highland infantryman fit in with this? Thinking of the Scots influence in the French/Indian war.

Yes, Bernie, although the Highlander reenactors are usually from regiments that participated either in the French and Indian War or the Revolutionary War, you would not be out of place. I have been busy doing evaluations for my on-line forum that just ended, but either tomorrow or Saturday, I will post more images in my thread on this event, including some of reenactors (no Highlanders, alas).

Great stuff Don. I will be away this weekend on a reenactment event in Edinburgh, dressed as a highlander of course.

Many thanks and apologies to Ray for the hijack.

Great photos.

Sure wish I could have been there, was a little side tracked as it was the same day as my daughter wedding. Maybe next year?
