International Paper Modelers' Convention 2020
Greetings all,
As you've heard, we had a great IPMC last month, and we're already making plans for the next one in 2020. Unfortunately, there's a little squishiness about the dates for next year. The hotel is already booked for the 4th weekend in October and the following weekend includes Halloween, which we probably want to avoid (we tried that one year, but it conflicted with trick-or-treating plans!). The hotel has penciled in 6-7 November 2020 for us. We would not want to go much later because it would encroach into Thanksgiving, and the earlier alternative would be 9-10 October (16-17 October is also already booked). All thoughts welcome . . . SF&G, Peter A. |

While my participation is always in doubt based on travel distance and unknown work travel obligations, I tend to prefer the earlier October date as opposed to the November one, purely from a weather standpoint.
But, there are more regular attendees whose input is more valuable than mine. greg

For those travelling a longer distance, the weather is an important factor.
Who knows, I might be free next year. |

I'm gonna try for the triple crown next year, and the November date would give me more time to save up.

The earlier October date would be preferable to me, but I can adjust.

Either date is fine with me.

Either date works equally well for me.
