I didn't get much reaction from the suggestion that we meet this Saturday, then every other Saturday. The two comments I did get were that we should stick to the 2nd and 4th Saturday so we can all plan our Saturdays accordingly, but we should have a meeting this Saturday anyway. So...

I will schedule a meeting for this Saturday, 1 August 2020 for those who feel the need. I will also schedule the other meetings on 2nd and 4th Saturdays as recurring meetings. In future, If someone feels the need for a meeting on a fifth Saturday, we can do that as well.

Meeting times will be 12 noon Central time (US), unless noted otherwise.

Everybody attending the August 1 meeting,

I have a meeting from 11 to 12 noon Saturday, so I might be a bit late starting our meeting. Please be patient.

The other meeting is a memorial service for a friend of some 40 years, who died of non-Covid causes. I cannot miss that meeting.

The sound issue I had was caused by Edge taking over and resetting something, but that's by the by

What is relevant is that I have had this before and so has Joe and we both had the same fix. So I thought to just post the fix here - it is a bit obscure and really the first place anyone would go for a microphone fix!

I came on little late and first could not hear or be heard pantomime time. But after 60 plus hours of Video class for new job in the last two weeks I used the magic fix. Turn off the program and turn it back on and it worked.

I wasn't able to make it. My brother's wife walked out on him last week, so I've been serving duty as his emotional support brother. Which includes doing any activities whenever he wants.

The next Google Meet virtual gathering is this Saturday, 22 August (4th Saturday) at 12 noon to 2pm Central Time( US). Google Meet was supposed to send out reminders. If anyone on the mailing list didn't get the reminder, let me know and I will send the link to the meeting.
