Thanks for presenting all the great photos.
It is wonderful to see so many modelers all having a good time.
Remarkable to look at that many models in the same room at the same time.

Just wondering . . . do any of you have any close-up images of Roman Detyna’s HMS Exeter?
I was interested in seeing the details of his work with the aircraft, catapult and crane.

This is the best I can do on the Exeter. Roman's work is impeccable.

Thanks Greg. Not a bad overall photo.
Roman does not have any images of this on his website.
The work around the catapults got my attention. Very nice indeed.

Correction to People's Choice Runner Up Award

In Post #32, I erroneously identified the model that won Greg Perry the runner-up People's Choice Award. Anne corrected my error, and here is an image from Greg's table and an image that I lifted from his build thread (http://www.papermodelers.com/forum/723682-post54.html) of his magnificent build of the 1/25 Modelik model of the "Hell on Wheels" Jupiter locomotive.

Being one of the newest member of the IPMC, I would love to express my gratitude toward all of you. Thank you everyone for sharing your models, experienced advice, and great personalities at the convention this year! The friendly way in which you all included me goes to show the quality people that this hobby has brought together.

Thank you for the awards I received. I was so very grateful to all of you considering my work worthy of awards. It means quite a bit to me that modelers of your caliber and experience thought that my work was deserving of them. It quite literally brought a tear to my eye.

I'm looking forward to next year, hopefully those overseas and those that were unable will be able to attend next year!

Once again, thank you so very much.

Hi Tyler -

We all very much enjoyed your and Thea's participation at the Convention. Your models were terrific and your friendliness and good humor made a great addition to our company pf paper model artisans.

It was a pleasure to meet you and see your fine work!

I am working on a thread to share your award winning kits. I'll be glad to coordinate with you to properly represent your accomplishments!

I'd love to coordinate with ya on putting that together. I'm still learning the ins and outs of this website so I'm not to sure on how to do that. You may have to hold my hand through the process.

I've got some other pictures and such throughout the build process and would love to share them with all of yall.
