IPMS Contest at Robins AFB, GA

I served as president of the Robert L Scott chapter of IPMS/USA. They are sponsoring a contest at the Museum of Aviation, adjacent to Robins AFB, GA.

They are a very hospitable crew and I know we will be most welcome to compete and display our models. Entry is $10 and the day will be well worth it!

Museum Of Aviation and IPMS R.L. Scott Model Contest - Welcome

Unfortunately I will not be attending as I will be at the Paper Model Convention this same weekend and the drive is a bit far for me.

I am close enough to go, but for the same reason I cannot attend the paper modeler convention (it's our 16th anniversary), I wish all who attend a great time!

It's this Sat, 24 Oct, from 9AM to 5PM. I'll be there with two of my sons. The museum is always a fun tour, too.

Lots of good places to eat in Warner Robins.

Fun day.

If you can make it, CT, make sure you bring your models. It would also be very interesting if you brought a laptop with your designs to display. Most folks have no idea how paper models are designed yours truly included!
