Thank you Don and Jim. I'm thinking the masts mean I have to tackle the rigging.. so really not looking forward to that. pulleys, deadeyes, ratlines are bad enough, but the running rigging, oh my.

I'm just now starting to make track links for the tank I'm building, it brings back memories of the tediousness of ratlines. But it looks so good when you're done it's worth it!

Thanks Jim, when the time comes to get right down to it I'll probably actually enjoy the rigging!

Although I have no aspirations to build a sailing ship myself, I am really looking forward to watching you "tackle" the rigging and will be happy to hear about any lessons you learn and techniques you develop in the process, Glen.

Thanks, willy.

Sorry for the diversion, Glen -- I've been embrangled with page proofs and ensorcelled by Clio (as well as Cleo), so had to have a little comic relief. Don't let me distract you from your fine work on the rigging and, as Theseus said to Ariadne, don't get too strung out in the process.

Heh, heh, nice, Don your diversions are always welcome of course, although references to ancient Greeks are also falling on deaf ears, but if this continues we may have to request another holy handgranade of Antioch....
