That's one sweet picture Billy

Well, the battery was NOT under the couch. Next I think I'll check the tupperware cabinet. It's the one cabinet we don't have locked up.

A number of years ago, I was building a p*****c model and watching TV when I heard an unusual aircraft noise overhead. I dashed outside in time to see a small formation of gorgeous planes overhead -- a Beech Starship and two Rutan Long-EZies! Talk about beauties!!!!

Bob

(Some one need to produce kits of some of Rutan's kit planes!!!!)

Marian, the amazing designer of this model, supposedly designed a Scaled Composites Boomerang

I haven't found it yet. Mostly because Marian posts on German forums, and my German isn't up to par.

As it turns out, my son is really smart, and I am not. The battery was found today. Of all the places it could be, he put it back in the camera case where he stole the camera form in the first place. Like I said, smart kid. Anywho, I now have pics of the build so far.

The nose section

Cockpit Detail

Nose Gear well

Aft main cabin interior

Main cabin inside main fuselage section

That's all for now. Tomorrow I hope to get the final cabin parts in and join the nose to the main section. With luck, I'll have a cockpit roof and windscreen too.

That looks pretty slick, Willygoat! Cool shape on the nose and the panel looks nice

Work has progressed the last couple of nights. The Starship actually looks like it might be a plane. Here are a few pics

The nose section is completed with glass and cockpit roof

I finished the main cabin and center fuselage section. I attached it to the main wing section and installed wing spars

I also have the AirStair done. I will have the staircase open to show the interior a bit.

Should have some more done tomorrow.
