thought id give an update- not much interesting things to post as of yet. i wanted to show you i am in fact working on it.i have quite a bit unfolded. its a bit slow in progress as for one you can see the file is pretty big(23 pages and counting) and some days pep slows way down. plus reworking some parts to make them easier. once everything is laid out i have to go and fiddle with the flaps. i am also struggling with what to do about textures. since it is mostly a black gun is leaving it just black good enough etc.

The actual color was not quite black. These photos show a dark charcoal gray or blue-ish gunmetal gray, with a wooden stock. The actual gun may have been black or blue-black. The model will probably look best, show its details best, and look a bit more metallic if you lighten it up from black just a tad--still keeping it a uniform color (except for the stock and grip).
