I have shot the reproductions. It is an intimidating gun, although the weight makes the 28 gauge (?) manageable. 10 shots to everyone's five or six. Pretty cool.

Dear Nothing:
Thanks a bunch for doing an icon from the southern forces I have seen an original and several repros but never got to fire one. Also thank you for including the PDF files as I think that it makes printing them to the correct scale much easier to do.
Being an old Light Artillery type (4th Artillery Bat. B) it sure would be nice if you would tackle the following I can't Afford the $650.00 for a repro It is an interesting gun the 1855 US Dragoon Pistol 20 years ago I carved a 1:1 one in bass wood but the hammer broke off at the first wood carving show still have the most of it. I think that it is a little larger than the real thing.
Thanks,
Miles

It has been a while since I picked up on the the Lemat. Thanks for sharing, I may git it a go later on and see if how they look next to my Confederate Revolvers. Thanks for sharing.
