Question FT-17 or M-60A2

once ive finished my MG34 ive been trying to decide my next project. Would you rather see a large scale FT-17 with full interior or the M60A2 starship. the A2 will lead to other M-60 series tanks.

I'd lean towards the A2 - it has always been a rather neglected model - and more so if perhaps it might eventually lead lead to a Sergeant York..?

Thumbs up

I'm leaned towards the starship, there's already enough FT-17 model on circulation

If you do the M60-A2, I would like to refer you to this site for some good reference photos. SVSM Gallery :: M60A2 Starship, Jacques Littlefield Collection, by Vladimir Yakubov :: IMGP0854

Real tank (M60) vs something that didn't exist (FT-17) doesn't seem a fair contest. It's Renault FT.

The French military historians who burrow through the French Army archive at Vincennes say they have never seen an occurrence of "FT-17" in any document from WW1 or afterwards.

Regards,

Charlie

"Officially, it became known as the Char leger Renault FT modele 1917, which has sometimes led to the unofficial abbreviation 'FT-17'."

there are tons of unofficial names, abbreviations etc the get attached to various military equipment. for example the F-16 is referred to as the Viper. although an unofficial name, i can assure you it does exist.
