It might take a while to arrive 'cos she's on holiday, but I won the auction for the violin case.

Made me smile though ... it's previous owner asked why I wanted it ... was I a keen musician? ... and would I be renovating the case?

I sent her a picture of the Chicago Piano in a case. I hope she isn't too shocked.

Now I've just gotta get my fingers fit again for when Trent publishes the things to go in it. After a blood test my Doc has diagnosed a big B-12 deficiency, which is apparently quite serious. So I'm now on weekly injections which should eventually tail off to monthly injections, but these will then continue for life.

The nurse is quite pretty, so I don't mind attending regularly. Thankfully the British NHS costs nowt, and in Wales even prescription stuff is free too. I'm just hoping it will be effective. The first injection hasn't had any noticeable effect though, and I still can't control a knife, or the cold spanners for me cars. So I'm getting a bit bored now.

If you think back to Katherine Zeta Jones playing Mariette in The Darling Buds of May, but with the much stronger North Wales lilt to the accent. She's gorgeous.

If I told you where, you'd never be able to pronounce it. I've been here over 10 yrs and I still have trouble with it.

Want to give it a go ... Cerrigydrudion ... In English it means Stones of the Heroes. Summat to do with the Celtic hill fort over looking the village.

JohnM it sounds like your on track to a good recovery.

so i started working on the lower receiver and i found i needed to adjust the clip. again. but i am happy to announce the the clip slides great and has enough friction to keep it in place. now i am happy that i can now put this 30rnd clip aside!

Oh yeah! Everytime I eat strawrberries that show comes to mind.
That violin case should really add something to the Thompson.

Thanks for the reply to my post JohnM, I don't know why I'm so interested in this model but the main question I have on a scale 1 through 10 with 10 being the mother of all models to build and have come out looking like something you would proud of where would you place this model? I know I have been at this hobby a while but in many ways I feel like a noob. I'm still using the training wheels if you know what I mean. I started the Russian Soyuz a while back and now its time to go back to that model again and finish it. I hate leaving a model behind undone. I just finished my GeeBee's but I'm not ready to show just them yet. Thank you for any replys. wc/waddy

I may be over 70, with numb, wobbly hands and feet, but the rest of me is still in perfect workin' order.
