any one interested in building this for me? i started a qick and dirty build but i have other stuff i need to work on.

I'd be interested to build it too. I love caricature airplanes, and the A-10 has been a longtime favorite of mine.

A-10 Test Build

Well, I'm almost caught up to where you left off. Your printer seems to differentiate the colors in the fuselage better than mine, but all in all it looks pretty good. I also scaled the thing down 50% so that might have added to mixed edges. Everything lines up and it went together easy enough. I of course used my favorite method of joining cones - internal centering tabs and edge gluing.

Shall we discuss copyright royalties? Heh, just kidding. I designed and built this prototype in plastic about five years ago, copyrighted it, then found none of the model companies wanted it.

Hah, that's awesome. You know it's funny, I was just reading another thread (like 10 mins ago) and saw that avatar of yours and thought it looked like an A-10, but couldn't tell at the scale. I was wondering if it was possible to see a larger version. PM is psychic it seems!
