That is a surprisingly big bird. Wonder how it compares in size to an Apache? Nice model.

Nice model, you may in the future, do some research on the rotor head, and finish it off. That is it's weak point. 99% of all helicopters have horrible rotor head designs, which really take away from the model. Your build of the model and craftsmanship is excellent!!

As a side note, the Army had to rebuild two P-51 Mustangs to use as chase aircraft for this bird, they were the last P-51's in US service.

Thank you guys for your compliments and I'm glad that you like this model which is quite big.
Piginapoke, I don't know how does it compare to an Apache, but we'll see. nikisschutt, your builds are excellent, very clean and well presented. I admire your works very much. 3turner, another pic for the eCardmodels, I guess? charles, thanks for the info about this monster, especially when you look at its nose gun. Looks like a cigar to me! mbauer, there's no secret. What I did was to cut it apart at where the sections are supposed to be joined. Then I added tabs underneath each part to be joined and burnished it inside and outside before the PVA glue dried. I know that there should be proper terms for these joints and I'd love to know what they are. Papermate |

Ah yes, Zathros, where would you suggest that I make reference to the rotor heads? Googling on this doesn't seem to help too much.
