The picture on the cover looks great. I look forward to seeing how the details of this one come together.

Yeah, I've never encountered serious paper problems with anything decently new, though my 1996 T-34 was starting to go bad when I built it a few years ago.

Thanks, I believe you know what you are talking about, and I shall scan and re-print on card stock. We are talking about a 28 year old kit and I believe just as you have said, the paper is too brittle! Again thanks, that is what I love about this forum, everyone is willing to help. Rick:D

To quote redhorse, interested in this deal about steam to help form parts. Reminds me of my balsa planes and adding washout to the wings! Rick

Frame

After a week of building, frame is finished. A little tough to keep everything strait but the fit was good. Hard to believe I've put over 90 pieces together and only have the frame to show for it.

It looks great. I've been tempted by this one, but never thought I could pull off getting the frame to look s good yours (I still don't think I could!). I hope the rest of the fit is as good!

Excellent beginning (with all the parts in that frame, it's much more than a "beginning" of course). Very fine build so far: clean, straight, and true.

It does look like you will be building a complete vehicle with just about every part except for the screws, nuts, and bolts.

Suspension & Differentials

Extremely fiddly parts but everything came out ok. Printing rubs off if I'm not careful. Engine & transmission next.

Very nice. Did you have any trouble keeping it square?
