The nose looks like a harbinger of a fine build.

Was it Johnny's request to "see the rest" that led to the stripping dialogue and the return to the theme of Ash's trousers?

Dang Man..............move along.............move along:p

OK..............meanwhile back at the ranch...

Here are a couple of more pictures as proof that ............ yes I am actually building a model. Thanks for the encouragement Johnny............. I need it.

OK........ a couple more observations...........

1. This is a hand drawn (no computer anything used to create this) model...........

B. The alignment of this model is.............. a "2" on the grading scale of 1 to 10........ 10 being excellent (halinksi, model art, Nobi, Kancho, DGA...........etc) 1 being a blank piece of paper.:D

3. The coloring on this one is a "1.25" (same scale)

D. Ash put a bungie cord on your pants and tie it around your waste.............either that or there must be some creatures of the opposite sex running around there for you to keep losing your pants................. for your sake I hope the second observation is correct and if it is........keep loosing your pants:p

Carl........gotta use my best assets..............my butt is not so good.........been chewed on way too many times that it's almost gone Wait.........maybe it's just moving around to my front:o I hate that it's going away.........people always told me it was the smartest part of my body........

Ummmmmmm. notice the red circles in picture two

john

Wow that's a pretty crooked alignment there!
I think some MM designers are drunk and don't proof read...
This is a 2003 kit I think:

Look at the camo on the wing.

Well, the craftsmanship is just fine. The alignment call outs make me feel a little better about the misalignment of my Hampden.

John, even though there are several contestants yet to post a build thread I am pretty sure you will get the "Worst Alignment on a Model of Less Than 1:1 Scale" bonus. I know it's tough, but think of the baby seals you are saving! Hey! Who let Sally Struthers and Al Gore in this thread?? Anyhoo, keep fighting the good fight, nose to the bear trap, fingers in the dike (not going there), the early worm gets eaten by the earlier bird. That's all the encouraging things I can think of...just "Carry On My Wayward Son"...

Hey John you just made me feel I am not the worlds worst designer of textures how cheering. Never mind mate at least the bottom looks as though the gunbays might line up.

Were you suggesting to Ash he should tie his trousers to the lavatory waste or the kitchen waste that should restrict his movements.

John, if you need to give a name to your pain, I ran across this "ass essment" of the author, kind of not to flattering reviews. http://paperwings.50megs.com/f5/f5.htm
And being married to the QBH* aka 3rd wife, I have no idea what you and Ash are referring to anymore!

I hate it when reviewers sugar coat things to avoid giving offence

Ted............ I concur with his assessment! Someone should make a list of all the models he has designed and post a warning...............back away from the model!

Shrike..........I think I'm being pretty nice about this POS:D

And what do you know.............it's starting to shape up to the silhouette a Harrier..........if not look like one:p

1 tail................no butt.........well to be honest I did do a butt joint between parts 3 and 4..........the transitional; area around where the intakes are penciled in.

(still hate em)

here some more pics

john (the madness continues)
