You're setting a very high standard! The finished tailhook is in the "I can't beieve it's made out of paper" category.

Wow!
That is a really good addition to the model!! Having all these build threads going on at once sure makes it easy to miss little gems like this. However I know I have something to read during my Morning tea break. Logging onto papermodelers.com is like getting a modelling magazine every day!! |

I certainly appreciate all the nice comments about this build.
Finally got some additional fuselage sections together, the rear section took a lot of dry fits and fiddling, none of the panel lines match exactly so there's always a lot of trial and error to get everything more or less in the right spot. The fuselage is starting to flair in the front to accommodate the radial engine. |

Looks like you managed to fiddle sufficiently to get the panel lines to match up perfectly!

Since this kit came without any parts to add depth to the radial engine some rolled paper cylinders and wire push rods were added.
There are still bits and pieces to add to the fuselage, those will be added later after the fin, stabilizer and wings are on. |

Oooooh - going for the "Added a Semi Built Up Engine to the Otherwise Flat Cowling Interior" bonus! Good job!

Love it. That added level of detail brings so much to making these MM kits into convincing models. Well done!
