I have to agree - those are mighty clean missile builds. I always have trouble with little tubes (despite Carl's tube-rolling tutorial!)

Theres a reason for the blurry pics:D I actually made the mistake of putting the nose cones on the front of the engines and had to use pliers to pull them out so they are all crinkled up:o Thanks to you guys for discussing the moistening of paper to facilitate rolling as the tubes themselves did come out quite nicely.

Looking good! I'm not familiar with jets at all. Is this a fairly accurate model?

I'm not very familiar with the Mig-29 so I can't say. By my calculations if the missiles were scaled up they would be within 4" of being the right length. Given the terrible fit on some parts though I have to wonder.

I'm calling it done

Well it's as done as it's likely ever to get. This was fun even if it was difficult maintain sanity whilst working on it. This was my first ever "Adversary" paper model so I decided to pose it next to "The Lady" the only 1:33 scale model I have that's not a piston job.

I figure there has to be some points somewhere for least amount of edge coloring and the total disregard for trying spruce up the model.

Ah - that would be the coveted What I Cut Is What You See (WICIWYS) Award. You are definitely in the running for that - LOL.

Hi!

Good to see MM MiG-29 as I was trying to do it one day!
The model is 'basic one' comparing to other 1:33 models of MiG-29 like: Fly Model, Design Model or GPM. There are no wheel wells for example but the model itself is OK and goes straight forward. If it is up to the missing R-60/R-73 it is worth to ad them from somwhere else.
