OTDAEABT Contest - Maly Modelarz Whirlwind HAS.7 4/95

Started the kit a few days ago, I've taken pictures for the 1st time but I can't get the jpeg's to upload due to it's size. I don't know how to resize using the Window Picture and
Fax Viewer, any help would be greatly appreciated. Ron, thanks for the 1903 penny.

Try using Irfanview (www.irfanview.com) for the resize - it's free and will handle most formats. If you shrink your camera image to 640 pixels wide and save as a .jpg it should be small enough to attach.

Regards,

Charlie

It looks like this kit goes together pretty well? Any problems encountered yet?

I've built this one too... I think it was alright, but I threw it out since then.

Also try using Microsoft Picture Manager (right click on the picture and pick "open with") if you have it. Then click "Picture" and then "Resize" at fuss around until the size is what you want. Hovering over the picture tells you details about file size and whatnot. We DO like pictures.

The only issue so far is that portions of the card stock tend to be soft, I caught myself almost tearing some parts when using a exacto knife. I changed blades but no joy, just
have to be careful. I haven't started on fitting the aircraft skins yet, just cutting at this point.

Looks good so far. Looks complicated, too!

I had the same problem - It looks like you've already figured it out but here's was my solution.

I just emailed the pictures to myself - when asked if I want to undersize the images to send - click yes. Then open your email and resave the pictures. I was then able to post the images without any problem.

Don't know if it's any easier than what your doing - Just my 2 cents - Hope it helps
