OTDAEABT Contest - Maly Modelarz - Bell Helicopters AH-1S

Well,

The mailman has cometh, and has left the above mention kit with the others I had ordered from Ron today.

One thing I have going for me is that the kit has been designed by Paweł Mistewicz.

The kit was nicely packaged, and the 1900 Indian Head is much appreciated.

All the sheets are loose, so that should speed things along, although in the diagrams it is calling for some pieces of Balsa in the rotor head assembly(not something I have readily in my kit)

Here is the 2001 cover of the same bird

More to follow

Rick

Oooo a Cobra!
I always liked those. I picked up a plastic kit a long time ago, but never built it...

Now this will be something worth watching. Helicopters always look impressive when done in paper. I think it must be the fragile rotor blades or complex shapes???
At least the canopy looks simple with all those flat panels!!

Once again the flimsy "life is interfering with my hobby" excuse is used. <<sigh>> Demerits have been assigned.

You are all witnesses! A blatant attempt by Big Brother to intimidate the poor contest sponsor. Well played! 1000 bonus points to Slytherin.

Note: Slytherin is copyrighted material belonging to the woman with more money than the Queen and is used here without permission but with the utmost respect (but not as much respect as I have for our warm, wonderful, hard-working, almighty admin!)
