Belgian liner MS Charlesville.
I was asked to build the MS Charlesville. She was a combi-liner (or as the French call it a Paquebot) for the Compagnie Maritime Belge. Launched in 1950 at Cockerill, Hoboken, Belgium and sailed between Antwerp and the Belgian Congo untill finally sold in 1967. For the complete history I refer to SSMaritime.com.
The paper model is issued by Kartonmodell and I think she is worth every penny. I did make a few alterations. The life boats are now 3 dimensional; the colours of the masts etc. have been changed and i used HMV railings. Judge for yourself. I myself like the result. |

That is good. It even has bikini clad ladies at the swimming pool.

That is an impressive build. The life boats make the difference. They make the model really snap out and express the level of effort the builder put in to make this an impressive build.
