Paper tennis shoe gift
Howdy Folks,
A son of a physical therapist friend of mine is well known for painting awesome images on tennis shoes. Finding a tennis shoe paper model at: Adidas Paper Sneaker | Paper-Toy.fr I decided to see how this would turn out as a gift for my friend - the physical therapist. He happens to be a Sponge Bob fan; finding an Internet Sponge Bob image was easy and quick. On the other shoe side I put a photo of the therapist downloaded from Face Book. Printed on Wausau 60 LB Exact Digital Cardstock Sole reinforced with cardboard from a Cheerios box top. Shoe laces were cut from 20 Lb letter paper. Final assembly ( four inches heel to toe) given a protective coat of Krylon clear acrylic spray. Bob Penikas |

What a cool gift. I bet he will always treasure it.

Looks like the same designer has at least one other Sneaker model:
Papercraft Onitsuka Tiger - Mexico 66 | Paper-Toy.fr Very imaginative.
