Guess what I just found on ebay?

I can't put up a link to this, 'cos it seems that I've just bought the last one.

However, the same guy has lots of other 00 and N scale fairground card kits for sale. There's even a simplified steam yachts ride.
The BUILT ones are a little expensive, but the kits are reasonably priced. Could be worth asking if he'll sell downloads.??

I don't recognise any of them as pirated kits, but you never know. The seller is listed as 'Johnsmodelkits', but it ain't me!

Congratulations Johnny! Know you've been looking for this one for some time. A little persistence, a little e-bay and hey presto! It's magic!

If you hit the link in my #11 post here you'll find that "johnscardmodels" has just reposted all his Fairground models ... and yes, the chairoplane is back too.

New link below, just in case the old one don't work for ya.

That's quite a collection of "attractions".

I'm one of those who gets one, then have to get the series. About 50 kits average price about £10. I had better not start ! Still no Showmans engine.

Cheers
Mike

I've seen a few traction engines around Mike, but mostly farm ploughing or thresher drivers. I've not yet seen a proper Showman's engine in paper.

Back in the day, I remember one like this arriving at Raphel's Park, Romford. It was fully illuminated and had hauled a train of seven fairground trailers all the way from Southend. I think these road trains finally got banned in the early 60s, but what a show they put on, eh?
