Actually that's really nice.

Great to see an apparently simple object modeled in paper.
And then... you realize it really requires a lot of skill and thought to get it right.

Thanks, everyone. I'll post the pattern in a day or two once I clean it up. At the moment it makes sense to me but probably no once else!
