TP Roll Art gifts

TP Roll Art

One is a gift for an acquaintance; she grew up raising horses and now is a quilt maker.

The second TP Roll is a three piece entertainment scene, singer, guitarist and piano player.

What an unusual art form (and very good artwork, by the way).

TP Cardboard Art

Thank you,

It is so much fun to hand someone an empty toilet paper roll saying,"Here's a gift for ya" watch them frown, then see them light up when they look inside.

I download Internet silhouette and regular photos then reduce them making several copies of lesser size on one letter weight page.
Next I transfer the image outline onto a flattened TP roll and using a very sharp #11 blade I cutout the small image from the cardboard.
I try to create what is in my mind's eye by positioning and glueing two or more cut out images inside another TP roll.

Using a shaky can, all parts including the empty roll are coated with Krylon matte acrylic spray and sometime gloss spray.

I sign and date each finished roll.
