George's guitar

Here's my design based on the style of paperguitars of George's Gretsch Tennessean as played at Shea (not used on Ed Sullivan first appearance-that was a Gretsch Country Gentleman)
This is a beta build and some changes were made, I photoshopped an actual guitar, so wood texture and such due to this advantage...I hope to have time to build up a better one shortly

I was thinking of adding this to the downloads section, but not sure what category it would be in? Any thoughts?

I think it would go under Toys and Automata,,, for lack of a more appropriate category. Problem is; the only people that would see it are those that "accidently" stumble into it.

Perhaps as a download in ecardmodels? As another way to introduce/promote the hobby??

Again, thanks for the "George". If you don't mind, I would like to use it in my Beatles stage diorama. Almost done with Paul's Bass. ...

That would be nice to see, Ken! Just a note today I made a small change to the main guitar graphics, just a cut line like in the other Gretsch(s) from paperguitars, and a cover panel on the back for electronics, sorry these are small things, but the top won't take the shape without this, if you have downloaded you can cut the one you have easily enough or download a new one, sorry for the omission...(note it will be a bit later on that the file shows up again)

The two other Beatles guitars came from Paperguitars.com, my alternate one is in the downloads sections under toys and automata, in 3 pdf pages, listed as p1, p2, p3. Have fun!

hey, that's great!

by the way, it looks like it would be easy to change the skin a bit, remove the whammy bar, and you would have slash's les paul!
