I didn't know him, I'm still quite new to this form of art, but I'm really sorry for that.
He could have done more and more creations, but we have to be happy for those ones that he gave us, hoping that someone else can pick some inspiration up and feed the art.

Some of Mr. Newstead's automatons are availalble for purchase as cardboard cut out kits.
One was available through the Victoria and Albert Museum.
Others are printed by a company in Taiwan, but you will have to find a retailer to purchase one of their products.

I recently purchased a set of two paper models of his from Amazon. I am glad I did. Paul Spooner's work got me interested in paper models and from their I found Cabaret Mechanical Theatre and Keith Newstead and Peter Markey and Rob Ives and Walter Ruffler, and so on and so on.
