Oseberg viking ship - Billing Boats - 1:25

I haven't posted much for the last few weeks - I've made a little excursion to a wooden model (it's only unprocessed paper after all...). I've made a fairly quick and sloppy build of the Oseberg viking ship by Billing Boats, and didn't really take too many photos, but the result still ended up OK. I won't do the mast and rigging yet while in Nigeria.

If THAT is your Idea of fast and Sloppy, I'd LOVE to see what happens when you apply yourself. Awesome build

I had a very good example, check this out:

Model Ship World :: View topic - Static: Drakkar Oseberg - Billing Boats (Finished)

Took him a lot more time and effort than me, but the result is about as historically accurate as you'll get.

It looks like he built it the same way it would have been built if it was full scale. like you said, alot more time and effort, but its definitely worth it
