nice ju52man my grandfather fought the geman's in ww2 he was shot though the leg by a german soldier but he did not go down with out a fight he shot the german in the arm and took him prisoner and keep the geman's luger as a war prize when he got home he took it apart to clean it and could not figure out how to put back together it is in a bag lock in the bottom cupboard of our gun cabinet along with a very valuable numbered 1/18th scale diecast general lee i got for one of my birthdays

I do believe I would be getting that to a gun shop or something and getting it back together before something gets lost ...

I really like these. Makes the imagination tick a little faster. In college we used to make fake IDs for various foreign universities for laughs. During WWII, did they use the mo/da/yr type notation in Germany, or did they do da/mo/yr?

there are books out there that cover the disassemply/assembly of firearms. Fellow by the name of J.B. Woods wrote a series of them, and the NRA has one available, check your local library, they might have them and get that Luger putback together!
