Wonderful. When the town is done, what are your plans for it?

The finished town will have a bridge over a river and exist on both sides and it also has a chalet (castle). All together there are more than 6000 pieces! So the finish line is about 1.5 to 2 years away, way to far to know what will happen. Tucson has a miniature museum (doll houses at 1/12 scale) they are a likely place that could actually display what will become a very large diorama.

The town looks great, can't wait to see it when it is finished.

The table is looking good. what color are you going to stain it and did you turn the legs yourself?

Inky,
As I said above town competion will be a while, hang in there.
No I bought the legs from osbournewood.com their price was almost as cheap as buying the 3" square blanks. I was going to do the turning but had to go online to get the right thickness wood, when I saw Osbourne's prices I got lazy. They are very nicely done. All the wood is red oak which I will stain to a golden oak color and then finish with several coats of polyurethane.
