New business idea

My company is going to be called rmc redzinak model company
I will be making skill level one 1/25th scale plasic model cars they will be 2 in 1 model kits that means one stock and one custom you will not have to choose either or you can build one of each with my 2 in 1 kits they will be 10.00 each I will post a list of the cars I plan on doing in a little bit

Wow! That's a lot of models you going to make. The steel molds for each car models are not cheap too. You must be rich :D Where you going to manufacture your models? Oh, and how are you going to get around the auto and maybe movie copy right thing?

they are not going to be metal the are going to be 0.020th of an inch thick styrene plastic there are not going to be any movie/tvshow related cars nock off decals that parody star cars mayby but not actual star car replicas

I think he was asking how you're gonna form the plastic into the body shells, and other components of the models. Most plastic model making companies inject melted plastic into metal forms, which are rather pricey to make.

Just getting necessary permissions from the auto companies will run you cost way up. Injection molding is not cheap. No way can you produce them and sell them for $10 each.

This is just an idea I may do what jcpennys does with their 5 dollar muscle car shirts and and make them generic with no names or logos on them

Yeah, I was asking about the tooling - metal molds. I did some research on that when I was planning to manufacture my hmmwv. After talking with about a dozen manufacture in the State and China. With my friends back out on me, I learned that I will need to take out my 401k, put my house up and maybe sell my dog too to pay for the tooling, materials, packing cost and storage too. But I was not making that many cars like you, I was making one vehicle only, in 1/6 scale :D If you find some manufacture that can make models cheap, pleas let me know. I got something else I would like to make into plastic kit and start my toys company.

I will be making my own molds with a vacuum former and then using liquid resin to make the parts
