Something else...
When I was 21 years old way back in 1981 I managed to get a respectable 3rd in the UK disco dancing championship final sponsored by Honda and shown on ITV (note ITV without the 1,2 or 3 at the end, there was only 3 channels in those days!)
Anyoldhow, Sunday sees a retrospective of this again on ITV1 at 7.00pm in The Best of the Worst Dance Moves. So if anyone wants to watch it, my real name is Ken Ralph. I think its going to be a fleeting glance. If you want to learn to climb a mountain, Start at the top.

Congrats on the 3rd place.... I don't have ITV so I won't be able to see it.......... I'm sure you looked good in you Leisure Suit. :D

Actually in all I won a black and white TV (swapped immediately for a casio keyboard, with a local shop)and £100 for winning the Anglia final. and £250 and a Honda motor scooter for the UK place. Plus a whole bunch of gigs at £70 a time, for dancing 2 fifteen minute slots. Not bad for someone who was out of work at the time.
