Haven't been doing many bird shoots lately. But did finally get one of the ravens that's raiding the pecan tree next door to sit still for a few seconds.

Lucky days this weekend a Barred Owl, rare out this way although familiar with them from Florida, dark snowy day but still with a little brightening perked up a bit, and same with flock of Hooded Mergansers, I like this pic as it shows the many positions of the male's crest

I have been told of the location of an Eagle Owl and hope to go and track it down in the next few weeks.

I liked seeing the image of the little flycatcher, as well as the beautiful owl and the brace (or flush, paddling, raft, or team) of hooded mergansers.

Glen - I never found the owl. Another day. But I did get some nice flamingo and sacred ibis pics I will post later.
