I am building a paper model of a Scops Owl at the moment and have posted a thread in this Forum which has two photos of the real thing. Rather than repost the photos here, see the link to the thread below - photos are 3 posts down.

Finally got out for a few minutes with the camera this morning.

Nice shot Wayne - I like the blue sky. Often very hard to capture.

A dove? Which one?

white wing. That's one thing up here in Miami-Globe area and a lot of the more mountainous areas of Arizona, a really blue sky.

Hopefully as I get more settled in and get the condo down in Phoenix area cleaned up for sale will get more time to wander around with the camera. Actually been doing a little tinkering with models the last few nights also.

That WAS a very attractive image, Wayne.

No white-winged doves here in Carlisle, but lots of mourning doves on the ground and at the platform feeder. Also, this morning a couple of rose breasted grosbeaks passing through on their way south.

Amazing how doves look the same the world over - although they are not the same when you look carefully.

There often seems to be a thing amongst birders which makes them disregards or ignore doves - yet there are so many different types......

Ladder back woodpecker

They do like pecans. First shot is female, then the other with the red head is a male.
